充分利用北部湾大学与东密歇根大学的优势资源，把机械工程、机械设计制造及其自动化、车辆工程等五个专业作为一个专业群加强建设，将北部湾大学东密歇根大学联合工程学院建成高素质工程师人才培养基地，服务民族地区的产业发展；建成面向东盟的国际人才培养基地，服务广西的对外开放；办成中外合作应用型人才培养示范机构，为广西高校开展高水平国际合作办学提供可借鉴方案；建成广西中美学术文化交流中心，为中美两国增进了解与合作共赢作出贡献。

Leveraging the strengths of Beibu Gulf University and Eastern Michigan University, we foster the progression of a cluster of five key programs, including Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design and Automation, and Vehicle Engineering. We aspire to build the College into a premier institution for nurturing top-tier engineering talent, thereby serving the industrial growth in the Beibu Gulf area. We strive to build the College into an ASEAN-oriented international talent development hub to bolster the opening-up of Guangxi. We seek to develop the College into a flagship institution for practical talent development through China-foreign cooperative education program, serving as a benchmark for higher education institutions in Guangxi to engage in high-quality international cooperative education programs. We aim to become a center for academic and cultural exchange between China and the U.S., in a bid to foster greater understanding and promote mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.
