Aims: The Mechanical Design, Manufacturing and Automation Program aims to achieve the following: (1) Develop professionals capable of working on the front line of industrial production in the field of mechanical design, manufacturing, and automation. They will be skilled in product design, manufacturing, technology development, research, operations management, and sales, with a strong ability to organize and manage technical aspects in these fields. (2) Foster in students strong engineering skills and professional ethics, as well as an innovative mindset. (3) Develop internationally-minded specialists in the fields of mechanical design, manufacturing, and automation, who can undertake technical roles including design, development, and management.

Characteristics: The Mechanical Design, Manufacturing and Automation Program at Beibu Gulf University, in partnership with Eastern Michigan University, is an internationally recognized flagship program that harnesses the educational excellence of both institutions to offer a high-quality curriculum. This program is designed to develop mechanical engineers with a global perspective, solid professional knowledge, and robust practical skills. Students are expected to gain a solid professional knowledge of mechanical design, manufacturing and automation and robust practical expertise in this field, along with strong cross-cultural proficiency, innovative thinking, and a sharp understanding of the global trends in the machinery industry, preparing them for success in this sector.
核心课程：工程制图、工程力学、工程质量控制、几何尺寸与公差、成型材料及工艺、机械设计基础、工程材料与热处理、实体建模、3D装配建模、电气控制及PLC技术、传感器与测试技术、3D建模和曲面建模、产品设计导论、模制产品设计、CAD顶点课程。

就业方向：毕业生主要在各类企业从事机电一体化产品的设计、开发及制造等技术及管理工作，也可在国内外上市公司、跨国企业、高等院校、科研部门、政府部门和相关行业知名外企等从事教学、科研和管理等工作。
Prospects: Graduates of this program will assume roles in various companies, concentrating on the design, development, and manufacturing of mechatronics products, and also handling technical and managerial tasks.
