培养目标本专业旨在培养德、智、体、美、劳全面发展,在机械工程学科及相关专业领域从事工程设计、机械制造、技术研发、科学研究和生产组织管理工作,具有优良的思想政治素质、扎实的科学文化基础、良好的工程实践能力,具有国际化视视野和沟通能力,比较系统地掌握机械工程基本理论、基础知识、基本技能,能够运用所学知识和技能创造性解决有关专业技术问题的专业人才。

Aims: The Mechanical Engineering Program aims to achieve the following: (1) Equip graduates with a solid knowledge of the fundamental theories and practical expertise in mechanical engineering, enabling them to solve technical challenges in a creative manner. Graduates will be equipped to excel in mechanical engineering and related fields, particularly in engineering design, manufacturing, technological development, scientific research, and production management. (2) Foster in students strong political and ideological awareness, a solid professional knowledge, excellent engineering expertise, an international perspective and strong communication skills.

就业方向机械产品设计开发、加工制造、工装模具设计、生产过程管理、数控技术应用、工业自动生产维护管理、计算机软件应用、产品营销等方面的工作,也可在国内外上市公司、跨国企业、高等院校、科研部门、政府部门门从事教学、科研、管理等工作。

Prospects: Graduates of this program can pursue careers in product design and development, manufacturing, tooling and die engineering, production management, CNC technology application, industrial automation and maintenance management, computer software application, and marketing. They are also equipped to take on teaching, research, and management positions in publicly traded companies, multinationals, universities, research facilities, and government agencies.

核心课程及主要实践性教学

Core curriculum & Practical teaching

(一)核心课程

几何尺寸与公差、机械原理、机械设计、传感器与测试技术、液压与气压传动、机械制造基础、机械工程控制基础、机械振动、高级有限元分析。

Core curriculum: Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance, Mechanical Principles, Mechanical Design, Sensors and Test Technology, Hydraulic and Pneumatic Transmission, Fundamentals of Mechanical Manufacturing, Control Engineering of Mechanical Systems, Mechanical Vibration, Advanced Finite Element Analysis

(二)主要实践性教学环节

工程训练II、专业认知实习、实体建模、机械设计课程设计、生产实习、毕业实习、毕业设计。

Practical teaching: Engineering Training II, Industry Exposure Internship, Solid Modeling, Mechanical Design Project, Production Practice, Capstone Internship, Capstone Design Project

毕业要求:总学分160分,中美合作办学,本科,学制四年,授予北部湾大学、东密歇根大学双学士学位。

Degrees conferred: Dual Bachelor’s Degree accredited by Beibu Gulf University and Easter Michigan University.
