Aims: The Project Cost Estimation Program aims to achieve the following: (1) Equip graduates with a solid knowledge of engineering technology, management, economics, and construction laws and provide them with engineering education which enables them to grasp the essential theories, methods, and techniques required for project investment and cost management. (2) Foster in students sustainable development awareness, a human-centered mindset and a global perspective. (3) Address the demand for skilled talents in the socioeconomic development of China by training high-caliber technical engineers capable of handling investment decisions, consulting, marketing, full-cycle cost management, and project management within the construction and consulting industries worldwide.

Characteristics: The Project Cost Estimation Program at Beibu Gulf University, in partnership with Eastern Michigan University, is an internationally recognized flagship program that harnesses the educational excellence of both institutions to offer a high-quality curriculum. This program is designed to develop project cost estimation professionals with a global perspective, solid professional knowledge, and robust practical skills. Students are expected to gain a solid professional knowledge of project cost estimation and robust practical expertise in this field, along with strong cross-cultural proficiency, innovative thinking, and a sharp understanding of the global trends in project cost estimation, preparing them for success worldwide.

核心课程：工程经济学、工程造价管理、材料力学、建筑结构、建筑工程计量与计价、安装工程计量与计价、施工安全、工程造价软件应用、合同文件条例与规范（工程合同管理）、工程计划和调度、建筑项目管理基础。

就业方向：工程(造价）咨询公司、建筑施工企业(乙方)、建筑装潢装饰工程公司、工程建设监理公司、房地产开发企业、设计院、政府部门企事来单位基建部门（甲方）等企事业单位，从事工程造价招标代理、建设项目投融资和投资控制、工程造价确定与控制、投标报价决策、合同管理、工程预(结）决算、工程成本分析、工程咨询、工程监理以及工程造价管理相关软件的开发应用和技术支持等工作。

Prospects: Graduates of this program can pursue careers in engineering cost bidding, investment and financing for construction projects, investment control, determination and control of engineering costs, pricing decisions for bidding, contract management, project pre-final and final accounts, cost analysis, engineering consulting, project supervision, and the development, application, and technical support of software related to engineering cost management.
