Aims: The Internet of Things Engineering Program aims to achieve the following: (1) Equip graduates with a comprehensive understanding of the Internet of things engineering that encompasses the fundamental theories, core technologies and cutting-edge knowledge in fields such as sensing technologies, network communications, data processing, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence. Graduates will be equipped to pursue careers in IoT and related fields, specializing in system design, tech innovation, data analysis, intelligent applications, and project management. (2) Foster in students strong professional ethics, a solid professional knowledge, innovative capabilities, practical engineering skills and global perspectives. They can skillfully apply IoT technology to tackle sophisticated engineering challenges and foster innovative applications and growth of IoT in domains like smart cities, advanced manufacturing, residential automation, and smart healthcare.

Characteristics: The Internet of Things Engineering Program at Beibu Gulf University, in partnership with Eastern Michigan University, is an internationally recognized flagship program that harnesses the educational excellence of both institutions to offer a high-quality curriculum. This program is designed to develop IoT engineers with a global perspective, solid professional knowledge, and robust practical skills.
